About the Extension

Give attention only to products that can be bought in your online shop! If products are no longer in stock, they are automatically hidden at all desired locations. Avoid unnecessary clicks or even page quits of your customers.

By default you can hide products in Shopware, but these are then no longer accessible in the shop. This is not very pleasant for search engines when you are redirected to a 404 error page. With our plugin, they can still be reached as normal via the direct product link.

You can activate or deactivate the plugin per sales channel globally or in the individual areas (listing, search, dynamic product groups, worlds of experience). This also applies to the individual product pages and the API. If you activate the plugin global, deactivating the individual options has no effect.

Tut genau das was es soll. Extrem freundlicher und schneller Support. Ein Problem mit der Kompatibilität mit einem anderen Plugin wurde innerhalb einer Stunde behoben und neu released. Vielen Dank!

Anfangs gab es einen Fehler, der aber nicht auf das Plugin zurückzuführen war. Trotzdem war der Support schnell mit der Beantwortung und alles funktioniert jetzt einwandfrei.

Why there is a 404 error page displayed?

If you have installed and activated the plugin and emptied the caches and a 404 error page is still displayed, a Shopware standard setting is most likely still activated. To do this, navigate to "Settings -> Shop -> Products" in the administration and check whether the setting "Hide products after clearance sale" is deactivated. If this setting is active, the functionality will be overwritten by our plugin.

A variant is sold out, but is not hidden/grayed out

Variant products are only hidden if all variants are out of stock (and on sale). Our plugin is "only" there to hide products that are no longer in stock in the various places in the store. These products are still visible to search engines or can still opened via the direct link to the product. Basically, you can use the sales and stock levels in the Shopware standard to control that the products/variants are no longer available for purchase. The option to hide or gray out products or variants on the detail page is not part of our plugin.

After installing the plugin, the sold-out products are not hidden

After installing the plugin, an entry must be created in a separate database table for each product. These are inserted via the product indexer. In order for the products to be hidden, the indexer must be run once for all products. Depending on the number of products, this may take some time. If Elasticsearch is used, the index must then be reset and rebuilt.
