About the Extension

Custom Order Number

With this extension you have the option of individualizing order numbers. On the one hand, this can ensure more systematics in your bookkeeping, but it can also serve to ensure that no conclusions can be drawn about the amount of daily orders based on order numbers or to avoid foreign customers guessing order numbers and thus getting personal data.

We currently support the following variables for configuring the new order number:

  • d: day of month, two digits; e.g. 04, 15
  • j: day of months, one digit; e.g. 5, 23
  • m: number of month, two digits; e.g. 05, 12
  • n: number of month, one digit; e.g. 4, 11
  • y: year, two digits; e.g. 98, 05
  • Y: year, four digits; e.g. 1998, 2005
  • H: hours (24), two digits; e.g. 04, 18
  • G: hours (24), one digit; e.g. 4, 14
  • i: minutes, two digits; e.g. 04, 32
  • s: seconds, two digits; e.g. 02, 55
  • w: weekday in numbers, 0 = sunday, 6 = saturday; e.g. 1, 5
  • NUMBER: the origin shopware ordernumber; e.g. 20021
  • CRC32(): encryption using CRC-32; example: CRC32(NUMBER); e.g. 752d5581
  • MD5(): encryption using MD5; example: MD5(NUMBER); e.g. 573572e4e9a8486a02fbc7eeeaffba7b
  • all varchars (small and capital) and cifers; z.B. AU
  • special chars; e.g. .:-_/

The order was made on 24.11.2021 at 15:34:12. The order number was 20021:

Please note that the maximum length of the number is limited to 64 characters!

Please also note that the order number should be used in some form, otherwise there is a possibility that the same order number will be generated!
