Description of the app

The app "bar for information and notification texts or messages" enables, among other things, information and notification texts or messages, for example for shipping and return information or your own service hotline. Up to 4 own areas are possible, which contain both text and icons (from Shopware or your own) and can be shown or hidden depending on the viewport. Alternatively, even only one single information text can be displayed, for example for a vacation message. The appearance of the areas can be specified within the configuration. If the area should be linked, it can either open a direct link or a modal box (the content comes from the self defined shopping world).

The bar can be displayed either in the top bar or in the footer bar or also above or below the breadcrumb navigation.

In addition, it is possible to move the language and currency selection area to the top bar.

Within the configuration, the following can be specified for the bar:

the establishment of whether the area should be shown in a top or footer bar or above or below the breadcrumb navigation
the selection of the unit of the outer distances
the definition of the outer distance of the area up- and downwards
the selection of the unit of the inner distances
the definition of the inner distance of the area up- and downwards
the definition of the background color
the definition of the shadow
the selection, if the width of the areas should be set to 50 percent in the viewport smartphone landscape (SM)

For each of the 4 areas, the following can be specified within the configuration:

the establishment of whether the area should be shown
the selection of the viewports in which the area should be shown
the selection, if an icon should be shown
the selection, if the icon should obtain from the select field or a snippet
the definition of the icon via the selection field (previews: https://github.com/shopware/shopware/tree/trunk/src/Storefront/Resources/app/storefront/dist/assets/icon/default and https://developer.shopware.com/resources/meteor-icon-kit/ ) or the snippet
the definition of the color and the hover color of the icon

Funktionalität genau wie beschrieben und ein kleiner Helfer für uns Shopbetreiber. Eigentlich eine kleine aber feine Funktion, die Shopware 6 als Basisfunktion fehlt, aber nahezu jeder gebrauchen kann. Umso besser, dass T-System sich dem angenommen hat und dies als kostenfreie Erweiterung zur Verfügung stellt.
Die Pflege erfolgt sehr komfortabel über das Backend.

Sehr klarer Fokus auf allgemeine, nicht produktspezifische Informations- und Hinweistexte. In dieser Funktionalität ist es hervorragend mt einer Menge Einstellmöglichkeiten.
HINWEIS: Das Theme kompiliert man, indem man auf Theme ändern zum Shop geht und das gleiche wieder auswählt und abspeichert.

How can I make it possible that a content of a self-defined shopping experience is open in a modal box when clicking on the text?

In this case, the cms id of the shopping experience (the cms id of the shopping experience for a modal box is located in the browser behind https://www.shopurl.de/admin#/sw/cms/detail/) must be inserted in the field "link (link or the cms id of the shopping experience for a modal box)" and at the field "link target" the value "in a modal box" must be selected. The CMS ID is, for example, da2727db04214f6c82434e6b13179fb.

How can I make it possible that a link is open in the same window or in a new window when I click on the text?

In this case, the link (for example https://www.test.de ) must be inserted in the field "link (link or the cms id of the shopping experience for a modal box)" and at the field "link target" the value "in current tab" or "in current tab" must be selected.

To which themes is the app compatible with?

The app is compatible to the Storefront theme from Shopware and with themes derived from it. When using a third-party theme that was purchased via the Shopware Store, the proper use of the app, as with any other Shopware app, cannot be guaranteed.

Some changes in the settings within the configuration are not immediately visible in the frontend of the shop

After changing settings specifically for the appearance of the areas, the theme must be recompiled, for example by saving the theme using the "Save" button in the administration under "Content" and "Themes" after selecting the active theme.

When the app will be compatible with the latest Shopware 6 version?

On the day a new Shopware 6 version is released, we check whether adjustments to the app are necessary for the new Shopware 6 version and carry out a final function test in a local demo shop in this Shopware 6 version before we manually release the app for the new Shopware 6 version. Due to possible absences (e.g. vacation or illness), there may also be delays.

How can I define settings only for one selected sales channel, such as displaying one selected area?

To define a setting only for one selected sales channel, switch to the app configuration, then select the value "All Sales Channels" at the selection field "Sales Channel" and deactivate for example the switch "show the area" in "area 1" and saves this change. Then select the sales channel at the selection field "Sales Channel" (e.g. "Demoshop B2C"), in which you want to display the area 1, click the "Remove inheritance" icon in front of the name of the option "show the area" in "area 1", then activate the switch "show the area" and saves this change.
