Installation via extension manager or composer

Extension Configuration:

To configure the Advanced Product Samples extension in Shopware 6, follow these steps:

Access your Shopware 6 administration panel.
Navigate to "Extensions" and select "My extensions".
Locate the extension.
Click on the three dots and then select the configuration option.
Adjust the extension configurations as needed.
Save the changes to apply the configuration.

Create / Edit / Manage Product Samples:

Access your Shopware 6 administration panel.
Navigate to “Catalogues” and select “Product Samples”.
Add a new product samples group by clicking on “Add New Group”.
Provide a name for the group.
Select the customer group that should see the product samples and the sales channel.
Assign a price to the product sample.
Choose whether to display a badge on product cards or not.
Save the new group.
After saving the new group, a new tab "Products" will be available. Navigate to "Products" and add the products that should have product samples.
After adding products, save the group again.
Return to the “General” tab, scroll down to actions.
Click on “(Re)Generate Samples” to let the system generate product samples for the selected products. (If buttons are disabled, save the group to enable them.)
The “Delete Samples” action will delete all product samples belonging to the current group.

Important Tips:

After making changes, like adjusting prices or customer groups, always execute the “(Re)Generate” action to apply the modifications.
If you don't observe your changes on the front-end, clear the cache through the Shopware settings.
If a product displays product samples, but you can't find it in any of the product samples groups, attempt to delete the samples from these groups and then regenerate them again.
You can manage the texts on the product detail page or the cart alert by utilizing the snippets in the Shopware settings.

These steps will help ensure that your changes take effect and that product samples are accurately displayed on your Shopware platform.
