About the Extension

This app makes it possible to store documents for a registered customer, which he can then download via the "My account" area. The documents can only be downloaded by registered customers (as long as the customer is assigned to the document).

Practical example in use as a customer loyalty tool: You generate test reports in your stationary retail store. Up to now you send these to him by mail. With the app, it's much more clever: you encourage him to actively use his customer account on your eCommerce system by placing the test report in his customer account (and only there). And you know: every visit to you, whether online or in the retail store, offers a new sales opportunity ... ;)

Sehr hilfeiches Plugin, macht den Kunden Freude - Und: sehr engagierter und freundlicher Support!

Wir nutzen das Plugin, um Kunden Lizenzdokumente zur Verfügung zu stellen. Der Upload geht enorm schnell direkt im Backend über Kunden-Kundendokumente. Man muss nicht erst in den Kunden gehen oder in die Bestellung. Dokument Name vergeben per Drag+Drop hochladen, speichern, fertig. Dauert bei uns unter 5 Sekunden. Das Dokument sehen die Kunden dann im Kundenkonto, und können es dort herunterladen. Ein zweiter Weg ist im Backend über den Kunden, da stehen die entsprechend zugehörenden Dokumente ebenfalls gelistet und es können dort auch welche hinzugefügt werden. Sehr praktisch um zu sehen, welceh Dokument eein Kunde hat, ohne sich erst in dessen Kundenkonto einloggen zu müssen. Manche arbeiten ja auch gerne im Backend im Kundenkonto, zB wenn Shopware auch als ERP verwendet wird. Der Support ist sehr engaggiert, prüft Featurevorschläge ernsthaft und setzt diese auch gerne um, soweit es sinnvoll erscheint, kümmert sich um Korrekturen, kommuniziert sogar per Telefon und Fernwartung, und das alles super freundlich. So macht es Spass! Das findet man nur bei einer handvoll Plugin Herstellern hier im Shop. Klar muss man, wenn man nur eine Idee oder einen Verbesserungsvorschag hat, ggf. auch mal ein paar Tage warten, bis wieder ein Fenster in der Pipe offen ist für solcherlei unkritischen Support, aber hier wird man nicht einfach abgewimmelt oder vergessen, sondern bekommt eine verstehende und angemessene Anwort. Wir sind sehr, sehr zufrieden und froh, dieses Plugin zu verwenden. Wir schätzen die Zusammenarbeit mit diesen Hersteller und können viosys gerne empfehlen.

Perfekt für individuelle Dateien die dem Kunden zugeordnet werden müssen. Sammelrechnungen, Konditionsvereinbarung usw...

Der Support von VIOSYS ist außerdem super. Ein Optimierungsvorschlag wurde innerhalb kurzer Zeit umgesetzt. Danke!

Can I actually import the customer documents via API? Where is this API documented?

In short: Yes, this is possible via the Shopware 6 API.

Long version:

As a rule, our VIO.Apps for Shopware 6 do not provide their own endpoints in the API because they are not necessary. All data available in the API is provided by the API generated by Shopware itself. This API basically provides CRUD operation (Create / Read / Update / Delete) on all entities and their data fields in Shopware.

How can I make Excel or Word documents available to my customers in the customer account using the customer documents app?

You can configure the file formats yourself in your shop (or hand this task over to your technical service provider).
The official way of the manufacturer Shopware is a change in the configuration files. To do this, create the following file (if it does not already exist): config/packages/shopware.yaml
This should then have the following content:
