Automatic Processing
Once configured, Media Booster works completely automatically. New uploads are optimized immediately, and you can process existing media with a single click. The dashboard shows you statistics about saved storage space and optimized images at any time.
Server Compatibility
Media Booster automatically checks whether your server supports WebP and AVIF. If not, the corresponding option is disabled. This ensures the plugin works on any hosting – from shared hosting to dedicated servers.
Note: For best AVIF performance, we recommend servers with Imagick and AVIF support. On servers using GD library only, large images (over 4 megapixels) may be skipped during AVIF conversion. WebP conversion works reliably on all supported servers.
