About the Extension
This plugin provides a framework to offer age restricted products in your online shop. The customer can be requested to verify his age through different methods under certain conditions. The following settings and methods are supported so far:
When do we verify?
- Verification can be integrated into the registration form
- Verification can be an additional step in the checkout
Who needs to verify his age?
The verification can be restricted to
- certain customer groups
- certain billing countries
- certain carts (products from certain categories)
How do we verify?
The plugin itself does not provide any verfication methods. These will be added through extension plugins.The customer can choose between all installed verification methods.
Together with this plugin we will release our first extension plugin "Wmw Verify with ID". That will provide verification methods via german, austrian and swiss ID-cards.

Administration of accounts:
Each verification will cover a combination of billing address and date of birth. If and how an address has been verified can be checked in the administration. Furthermore you can remove an existing verification or verify an address manually.
The Data processed while verifying (e.g. ID-card numbers) will not be saved and can not be seen by the shop owner.
