Bring customers back — automatically and on schedule
A large percentage of consumers abandon their shopping carts every day. Our Abandoned Cart plugin makes it easy for Shopware stores to bring them back with automated reminder emails. You can configure a full multi-step reminder schedule — for example, a first email after 1 hour, a follow-up after 24 hours, and a final reminder after 72 hours — each using a different email template and message.
The plugin tracks exactly where each customer is in the sequence and sends the right email at the right time, without any manual effort.
Sweeten the deal with automatic discount codes
Take your recovery strategy a step further by attaching a unique, one-time promotion code to the cart recovery link. When a customer clicks the link in their reminder email, the discount is automatically applied to their restored cart — giving them an extra incentive to complete the purchase.
You can configure which Shopware promotion to draw codes from and exclude specific customer groups from receiving the discount.
One-click cart recovery
Each reminder email contains a personalized recovery link. When a customer clicks it, their exact cart — with all original products and quantities — is instantly restored in their browser session.
Depending on your configuration, the plugin can also automatically log the customer back in and pre-fill their billing and shipping details, making the path to checkout as frictionless as possible.
Gain additional customer insights
Beyond recovering lost sales, the plugin gives you visibility into your abandonment patterns. The administration dashboard shows you which abandoned carts are active, what products they contain, and how many reminder emails have been sent for each cart.
A built-in conversion metric tracks how many reminder emails have been sent overall and flags recovered orders in Shopware’s order overview, allowing you to measure the direct revenue impact of your campaigns.
No more manual work
No one likes doing repetitive work manually. The plugin automates the entire abandoned cart lifecycle: carts are captured the moment a customer adds a product or reaches the checkout, reminders are sent according to your configured schedule, promotion codes are generated and replenished automatically after each send, and carts that have passed their expiry window are cleaned up without any intervention.
The only thing you need to do is configure your schedule, customize your email templates, and set your preferred decay time.
