You can establish rules for B2C customers, such as asking for permission during checkout, automatic subscription, or ignoring.

Please note that the automatic subscription for B2C customers is not DSGVO compliant.

For B2B customers, you can make similar settings.

There is an option to adopt product tags for customers. Tags can be names of the sales channel, language names, state, etc.

If a newsletter-subscribed customer has not given his or her first or last name, or has not provided his or her postal code or city, the data from the Order will be adopted and the customer updated.
