Features

Easy validation: validate the countries' postal codes using regular expressions
Quickly configured: Over 50 predefined regular expressions for the most important countries, which can be applied with a single click.
Alternative validation: Alternatively, you can check the postal code using a minimum or maximum length. It is also possible to check whether letters may be included in the postal code.
Place names: Define the maximum length for entered place names in the plug-in configuration. Useful if your merchandise management only allows limited lengths.

About the Extension

This plug-in checks and validates the input of the postal code. Likewise, the location information is checked for a maximum length to be defined.

The validation takes place whenever an address is created or changed (account creation, profile, edit addresses, etc.).

This avoids incorrect or incomplete information, so that you yourself have less work to do when processing your orders.

How can I edit the error messages?

When editing the address from the profile overview modal, the validation does not work?

The validation also works when editing the address in the profile overview. However, due to a Shopware bug, no error message is issued. As soon as this bug is fixed, an error message will be displayed. More technical information can be found here: https://issues.shopware.com/issues/NEXT-22451

Is the data validated on the front-end or back-end?

The data is validated on the backend side. This means that the error message is not visible immediately after text entry, but only after the form has been submitted.
