About the Extension

This extension makes it possible to provide customers with all relevant information about a product in a simple and modern way.

For each product purchased in a brick-and-mortar retail store, for example, an individual QR code can be generated automatically or manually that links directly to the respective product detail page in the shop.

Customers can scan this code from the packaging or a label, for example, and immediately access a clear and mobile-optimized view of the product information—whether it's technical data, legally required information, or additional details. The landing page is specially optimized for mobile devices so that users can conveniently access the information on their smartphones without any detours.

This plugin offers the ideal solution for increasing user-friendliness, improving the flow of information, and providing customers with a modern shopping experience.

Template system

A template forms the basis for the data display of each QR code. You can individually define the structure of the display from a list of elements. The templates support HTML code, offering almost unlimited design possibilities. In addition, you can configure various settings for each element to customize the display as much as possible. Each field of an element can be linked to a data record for the respective product in order to output dynamic content based on the product data.

QR codes

You can generate a QR code manually for each product or generate them for several products at once using a dynamic product group. A QR code can be used for various purposes, such as displaying product information or simply redirecting to the product detail page. Thanks to the template system used, you can change the function of the QR code at any time without changing the QR code itself.

The QR codes are provided via a domain of your shop—without the use of or dependence on external services—and stored as PNG files in the Shopware media system.
