About the Extension
This extension uses the Deepl API and offers comprehensive solutions for multilingual shops. It enables the seamless translation of product descriptions, product metadata and additional product fields, as well as category names and metadata. Entire worlds of experience or individual blocks can be translated. All settings are transferred to the new language. All languages that are installed in your shop can be used. The plugin uses the Deepl glossary for consistency and offers an intelligent text caching function to reduce API costs.
Users receive a detailed overview of logs, open tasks and the option to edit the cache. An indispensable extension for globally orientated e-commerce platforms.
Deepl glossary
A glossary allows you to define how certain terms are to be translated. Each glossary consists of one or more entries. It contains the term in the source language (source text) and the desired translation (target text).
Cache
Cache is used to optimise costs. Words or texts that have already been translated are stored in the cache. If the same word or sentence needs to be translated again, the translation is loaded from the cache. In this way, the translation is not translated again in the API, which saves costs.
Experience worlds
Both entire experience worlds and individual elements of the experience world can be translated into the target language. All other parameters are transferred to the target language, e.g. stored images.
ATTENTION: Currently, only Shopware standard elements can be translated. Please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can add support for other elements.
