About the Extension

General Product Safety Regulation Plugin helps you to keep your shop GPSR compliant and your customers well-informed about the origin of your products.

The plugin adds a new page to administration that contains all the fields necessary to keep your manufacturer data up to date. 

Every important information is provided via a separate field, keeping the process simple and error secure. Besides simple text fields for the most basic information, you can additionally add media files such as images and PDFs to enrich your data further.

Should you also have information about an importer, associated with your manufacturer, you can provide the same detailed information about it as well.

To help you keep track of the status of all your manufacturers in terms of compliance, this plugin ships with a module that is getting displayed in the Dashboard of your administration. The module indicates with both signs and text if a manufacturer's data is sufficiently provided. In the configuration, you can even choose to display the manufacturers that are already compliant. Should you want to edit one of the manufacturers, you can simply use the three point menu in the list and directly jump to edit page for adjustments.

In the frontend, the saved data will be displayed on the product detail pages. If a product is linked with a manufacturer that has provides GPSR data, it will be displayed in a separate tab underneath the product's image. Next to the product's description and reviews.

Additionally, when enabled in the plugin's configuration, you can display badges on both the product detail page and the teaser cards of the products to show your customer, instantly, that the product is compliant to build more trust.

This plugin adds a new page to the administration on which you can select via a dropdown one of your shops manufacturers and add GPSR relevant address data via simple text boxes to make it as easy as possible. Additionally, in the same window you can also add importer data, which is necessary should your manufacturer reside outside the EU. You can additionally add images and upload pdf on the same form page in the administration for each manufacturer and/or importer. This enables the plugin user to provide even more information to the user. In the frontend, this data is getting displayed on the product detail page in separate tabs beneath the product. Importer and manufacturer information are getting displayed in separate tabs to make them clearly distinguishable.

Additional unique features that fall into Cluster 2 include:

- A dashboard module that displays manufacturers missing GPSR information and provides an edit button for each entry, allowing quick access to the editing page. This module also alerts users if a manufacturer's information is incomplete.

- On listing pages and product detail pages, products with completed GPSR information receive a compliance badge. These badges can be enabled or disabled via the administration settings.
