About the Extension

With the extension "Forms" you can create individual forms for your onlineshop. You can create and name the required form fields individually. Different field types are available for the creation of the forms. In addition, you can define a CSS ID and CSS class for the individual fields as well as a pattern and the minimum and maximum length. The created forms can be integrated into existing layouts or new layouts via the shopping experience.

As soon as a customer has filled out and completed a form, an e-mail is sent with the information from the form. This way you get all the information you need immediately. Optionally, you can specify that your customer also receives an email with the completed form.

Each submitted form is stored in a database table created by the app.This allows you to read out the saved requests, for example to carry out analysis or to send the data via API from third-party systems for further processing. In addition, the form data can be accessed in the admin area.

File: The uploaded files are automatically added as an attachment to the e-mail and can be downloaded in the admin area in the form data.
Explanation: Here you have the option of providing explanations for your form. Your customer does not have to enter any data.

Feature "Email heade"’ (from v5.0.4 & v6.0.1)

The ‘Header’ feature allows you to insert information (attributes) from the form into the email header. This allows you to fill individual fields in the ticket system with this information. For example, a ticket number or email address can be transferred in this way.

General
Our extensions are based on standard functions of Shopware 6 (Community Edition) and the standard responsive theme. Individual or heavily customised themes cannot be taken into account during development. In such cases, adjustments may be necessary to ensure full compatibility.

Compatibility
Our extensions are generally compatible with each other. If functions are mutually exclusive or overlap, we explicitly point this out in the extension description.
We guarantee compatibility with the Community Edition and the standard theme. If you encounter any difficulties, we will of course be happy to assist you. We cannot guarantee compatibility with third-party extensions or Shopware Premium extensions.

Important: You are responsible for setting up and removing access. We also recommend a staging or development environment for support.
If it is determined that the cause is not related to our extension (e.g. theme customisations, third-party plugins or server configuration), further analysis will be carried out at a charge after prior consultation.

Install and activate the extension.
Go to Content -> Forms and add a new form via the button.
In the new view, enter the name of the form and the email address to which the information from the form will be sent. You can also activate the form and activate the display of the data protection checkbox. The text under "Description" will be displayed in the shop under the heading of the form. Click on "Save".
You can now create the individual fields. The first line is created automatically. To create a field in this line, click on the three dots and select the ‘Add field’ option. Under Label, you can now enter the name of the field and make further settings for your field, e.g. field type, mandatory field or a help text.
If you now want to add another field to this line, click on the three dots again and select ‘Add field’. Otherwise, you can start the next line using the ‘Add line’ option.
To create radio buttons for the field types ‘Select/Selection’ and ‘Radio/Selection’, click on the three dots at field level. The ‘Add field option’ option is available there.
After you have created all the required fields. You can now assign the form to a CMS page. To do this, open your shopping experience and edit an existing layout or create a new layout. Select the element "Lenz Form" in the block category "Form". Then open the element settings and select the form that is to be inserted here.
Assign the layout to a category and test the form. After submitting the form, an e-mail will be sent to the address entered.
The sent data can also be called up under Content -> Form data.

Email header

At the top level of the form data, you will find the ‘Add header’ button. A new line will appear. The following data is entered in this line.

Name: Name of the field in the ticket system
Value: Specify here which value should be inserted from the available fields. The values are displayed below.
Only enter if field ... + has the value ...: The information is only displayed in the header if the specified field contains the set value.
Position: Change the positions. Important: If a field is assigned twice, the first position is overwritten by the next assignment.
