About the Extension
With this extension, you can inform your customers quickly and easily when a sold-out product is back in stock.
Using a dynamic product group, you can define the conditions when the ‘Receive notification’ button should be displayed on the item detail page. After clicking on the button, a pop-up window appears in which your customer can enter their e-mail address. The customer can also enter the desired quantity if you activate the option in the extension. In the admin, under ‘Marketing’ > ‘Back in stock notifications’, the overview lists the customers who have marked themselves for a notification.
You can also use a dynamic product group to define the conditions when the notification should be sent to the customer. For example, as soon as a certain available stock level is reached. As soon as the first notification has been sent, the date of the notification is noted in the overview.
Reminder function
In addition to sending the standard back in stock notification, you can specify whether and when your customer should be reminded again that the item is back in stock.
To do this, you can specify in the settings after how many minutes a reminder should be sent to the customer if they have not yet made a purchase. A total of up to two such reminders can be sent to the customer.
Analysis
The overview of back-in-stock notifications allows you to determine what effect the back-in-stock notifications function has.
This allows you to track when your customers have requested a restock notification for your products. You can also track whether your customers have responded to the restock notification email or to one of the reminder emails. In the overview, you can also see which customers have made a purchase as a result of the notification, as the order date and order number are displayed. You can export the data from the overview using the ‘Export CSV’ button to create further evaluations.
Each notification contains a link to the desired product. This link contains an affiliate code and a campaign code. This allows you to analyse in the orders which orders contain the corresponding affiliate or campaign code and were therefore placed via the link in the notification.
You can also define additional UTM parameters that will be appended to the target URL to enable additional tracking.
Note: The extension does not support the double opt-in function for e-mails.
Options
General
- Show form for products in that dynamic product group: The dynamic product group allows you to define the products for which the notification form should be displayed.
Send notifications
- Send a notification if a product is in that dynamic product group: You can use the dynamic product group to define, for example, that notifications are only sent for products if they have at least a certain stock level.
- Allow customers to specify desired quantity?: If this option is activated, an additional field appears in the pop-up window in which the customer can enter their desired quantity. The notification is then only sent when the stock level corresponds to the desired quantity.
- Send second notification?: Activate this option if a second notification is to be sent to the customer.
- Delay for second notification in minutes: Send notification after x minutes when the product is in the dynamic product group.
- Send third notification?: Activate this option if a third notification is to be sent to the customer.
- Delay for third notification in minutes: Send notification after x minutes when the product is in the dynamic product group.
Tracking
- Affiliate code: This affiliate code is integrated into the product link in the back-in-stock notifications.
- Campaign code prefix: This campaign code prefix will be integrated into the product link in the restock notifications.
UTM parameters
- UTM source: Define a UTM parameter that will be appended to the target URL.
- UTM medium: Define a UTM parameter that will be appended to the target URL.
- UTM Campaign: Define a UTM parameter that will be appended to the target URL.
Further information
General
Our extensions are based on standard functions of Shopware 6 (Community Edition) and the standard responsive theme. Individual or heavily customised themes cannot be taken into account during development. In such cases, adjustments may be necessary to ensure full compatibility.
Compatibility
Our extensions are generally compatible with each other. If functions are mutually exclusive or overlap, we explicitly point this out in the extension description.
We guarantee compatibility with the Community Edition and the standard theme. If you encounter any difficulties, we will of course be happy to assist you. We cannot guarantee compatibility with third-party extensions or Shopware Premium extensions.

Please check the following in advance:
- Latest version of the extension installed
- Valid rental licence
- Error also occurs in the standard theme
- Third-party extensions are deactivated
- No custom code modifications to the extension
For the analysis, we require:
- Unrestricted admin access
- Additional SSH or database access, if necessary
Important: You are responsible for setting up and removing access. We also recommend a staging or development environment for support.
If it is determined that the cause is not related to our extension (e.g. theme customisations, third-party plugins or server configuration), further analysis will be carried out at a charge after prior consultation.
