About the Extension

With this plugin you can play out multiple announcements, notices & discounts in your store in a rule-based and time-controlled manner, allowing you to plan your promotions far in advance. Useful additional features like a coupon code display, countdown or hint text will help you to strengthen your customers' attention and increase conversion.

Functions and settings

Basic settings

Define here if and especially when your banner should be displayed in the store.

Title
Required for the internal display in the list view.
Active
Makes a banner active. If no start/end time is specified, the banner is permanently displayed until it is deactivated.
Sales channel
Defines in which sales channel the banner should be displayed. Multiple selection is not possible.
Rule
A rule from the rule builder can be stored here, which can be used to specify the display of the banner. The extension is of course compatible with our Rule Builder Extension for custom product pages.
Start time
Determines the time from which the banner should appear in the frontend. If the start time is left blank, the banner runs from creation.
End time
Determines the time from when the banner should be hidden again in the frontend. If no end time is specified, the banner runs permanently.
Position
Determines the position of the banner in the frontend. You can choose between:
- Above the header
- Below the header
- Above the footer
- Below the footer
Order
If several banners are played out at one position, this input determines the order.
Background color
This controls the background color of the banner.
Inside distance
This setting allows you to control the inside distance between the banner content and the frame.
URL
If the banner should link to an internal or external page, the URL can be set here.
Enable close banner
If this setting is activated, the banner can be closed in the frontend by the visitors.
Close banner icon color
Determines the color of the icon to close the banner. Should be chosen with enough contrast to the background color.
Show on desktop
With this setting, the banner can be shown or hidden in the desktop view.
Show on tablet
With this setting the banner can be shown or hidden in the tablet view.
Show on mobile
With this setting the banner can be shown or hidden in the mobile view.

Text

This tab can be used to insert the banner text and define its color and visibility.

Text
The text stored here appears on the banner in the frontend. The use of emojis is also possible.
Text color
Determines the color of the banner text. Should be chosen with enough contrast to the background color.
Show on desktop
With this setting, the banner text can be shown or hidden in the desktop view.
Show on tablet
This setting allows the banner text to be shown or hidden in the tablet view.
Show on mobile
With this setting, the banner text can be shown or hidden in the mobile view.

Discount Code

If desired, the banner can display a highlighted discount code that can be copied by the store visitors with one click.

Discount code
The code stored here appears on the banner in the frontend and can be copied by the visitors of the store with one click.
Background color
Determines the background color of the discount box. Should be chosen with sufficient contrast to the banner background color.
Border color
Determines the border color of the discount box. Should be chosen with enough contrast to the banner and discount code background color.
Text color
Determines the color of the discount code. Should be chosen with enough contrast to the discount background color.
Show on desktop
With this setting the discount box can be shown or hidden in the desktop view.
Show on tablet
With this setting the discount box can be shown or hidden in the tablet view.
Show on mobile
With this setting, the discount box can be shown or hidden in the mobile view.

Countdown

With a countdown, visitors of the store can be informed about how long a promotion is still running or a discount is still valid.

Text
The text stored here appears on the banner in the frontend and can be set in addition to the normal banner text.
End time
Determines the time when a promotion or discount expires. The countdown counts down the time until the set time in days, hours, minutes and seconds.
Font color
Determines the text color of the countdown. Should be chosen with enough contrast to the background color of the banner.
Show on desktop
With this setting, the countdown can be shown or hidden in the desktop view.
Show on tablet
With this setting the countdown can be shown or hidden in the tablet view.
Show on mobile
With this setting, the countdown can be shown or hidden in the mobile view.

Note

If the advertised actions require a note, an additional note text can be played out, which is displayed in the frontend in the form of an info icon.

Tooltip text
The text stored here appears if the store visitor hovers over the info icon with the mouse.
Popup headline
Clicking on the info icon opens a popup. The stored text appears in this case as a heading.

Clicking on the info icon opens a popup. The stored text appears as description text.
Icon color
Determines the color of the info icon. Should be chosen with enough contrast to the background color of the banner.
Show on desktop
With this setting, the hint text can be shown or hidden in the desktop view.
Show on tablet
With this setting the hint text can be shown or hidden in the tablet view.
Show on mobile
This setting allows the hint text to be shown or hidden in the mobile view.

Sorting option & direct editing

Within the list, you can sort by title, active and order. The active status and the order can be edited directly in the list.

Translations

The created banners can also be translated into other languages via Shopware's standard language change function.Here, all text fields can be translated as well as the URL and the discount code can be changed if desired. All other fields are inherited from the default language. A banner must be created in the system language before it is translated into another language. If the banner is only to be created in a language that is not the system language, the banner can simply be deactivated in the system language.

Durch die vielen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten bleiben keine Wünsche übrig.
Wir haben über die Black Week und über das ganze Jahr verschiedenste Kommunikationen darüber steuern können. Links setzen oder Gutscheincodes einfügen funktioniert super.
Technisch hatten wir nie Probleme.
Der Browser-Header in iOS passt sich sogar an die Banner-Farbe an - tolles Detail.
