With the prepaid extension, you can now offer your customers another convenient payment option: The credit works like an account that your customers can use to settle their purchases in your online shop directly, easily and securely. To do this, the credit can simply be "topped up" with a sum in advance. Prepaid credit is particularly useful if purchases are made regularly in your online shop and are to be deducted from a budget. It also increases customer loyalty to your existing customers.
Do not confuse credit with vouchers!
Credit should not be confused with vouchers: Vouchers usually have a fixed value. Prepaid accounts, on the other hand, can be used as needed. Vouchers also always involve a certain amount of effort in generating and managing voucher codes. Credit accounts for your shop customers are a much simpler solution: with prepaid, you can quickly and easily integrate a credit account into your customer account.
Credit accounts are flexible
But it's not just the administrative effort for voucher codes that is eliminated: a credit account is also much more flexible, because it can be loaded with any amount and redeemed or offset when shopping. In addition, as a shop operator you can load a credit to your customer's credit account as a birthday present, for example, without them having to do anything. In the case of a voucher, the customer would have to redeem it himself.
If the order value is less than the current credit value, the remaining credit remains. If the order value exceeds the credit value, your customer simply pays the difference with one of the other possible payment methods.

Practical for returns
In the case of returns, the credit account is particularly practical: the value of the returned products does not have to be paid out, but can be credited to the customer as a credit for his own purchase - so that the turnover remains in-house.
Credit accounts are ideal for employees
Prepaid credit is also interesting if you want to grant your employees tax-reduced benefits in kind in addition to their salary. Simply load the amount monthly onto the employee accounts. Your employees can then use their credit for a purchase in the company shop, for example.
B2B customers with budget
With this plugin you can set customers and companies a certain budget for orders to ensure that the budget is not exceeded. This allows the business to ensure that spending is controlled and monitored, while customers still have the flexibility to place orders easily.

Our extension is generally compatible with all our own extensions, provided that the respective functionalities do not conflict with each other.
For third-party extensions, including Shopware’s premium extensions, we cannot guarantee unrestricted compatibility. Should any issues arise in this context, our support team will be happy to assist you.
Naturally, when new Shopware versions are released, we ensure that our extension is made compatible with them in a timely manner.

- You have studied the manual in advance, as it already contains many helpful pieces of information
In most cases, it is necessary for us to have unrestricted access to your shop’s administration in order to analyze and fix the problem. Additionally, it may be required for you to provide us with FTP or ideally SSH credentials for your server. Please note that setting up and later removing these accesses is your responsibility.
For a smooth troubleshooting process, we recommend conducting support in a staging or development environment. This allows issues to be reproduced under controlled conditions without affecting your live shop.
