About the Extension

Referring friends through your customers is an effective way to significantly increase the reach and sales of your online store! Compared to affiliate marketing (https://store.shopware.com/en/cogi940779386594/affiliate-marketing-new-customers-through-partner-program.html), it allows your customers to be conveniently rewarded for referring friends without partner program registration and further knowledge. Referring friends is therefore mainly aimed at private customers, which is possible for both you and your clientele without any time-consuming manual intervention.

For this purpose, your customers get a completely automated, personal refer-a-friend link that can be retrieved and shared at any time. As soon as a friend places an order after either clicking on the link or typing in the friends code, it is automatically tracked for the referrer.

You as the store administrator retain full control over when and how your customers are rewarded for referring: You can define a waiting period after which the reward should be given - by default, the waiting period is two weeks, so that cancellations are taken into account. In addition, after the waiting period has expired, the system checks whether the order has been successfully completed. If the process is completed successfully, the extension will then automatically generate a promotion code for the referring person, which will be sent by e-mail. You do not need to worry about anything else!

You can easily define the promotion used for this in the configuration of the extension. There are no limits for the restrictions of the promotion: You can define which discount variant and amount the promotion codes should receive. The pattern of promotion codes and refer a friend codes is also freely selectable.

In addition, there are many other ways to fully customize the extension to your needs: For example, if desired, your customers can also enter a friend code themselves when completing an order. The URL parameter is freely selectable, and you can also set a minimum value for orders and the number of invitations per person. Each configuration can be set individually for sales channels and e-mail templates can be adapted to your wording.

Practical: In an administration view, you can always see which customer has referred a friend at what time and whether a promotion code has already been created.
