Configuration manual

Installation

1. Download the plugin installation package from the Shopware Store.
2. Login to your Shopware backend and navigate to "Plugin Manager" > "Installed".
3. Click on the "Install Plugin" button.

Instructions

1. Creating URLs under "Generate URLs"

1. In your Shopware backend, navigate to "Catalogs" > "Product Link Generator".
2. Click the "Start" button to go to the "Generate URLs" page.
3. Click the "Add" button to add a new URL template.
4. Enter a name for your template.
5. Select a dynamic product group to select specific/all products. Here is a guide to creating dynamic product groups: https://docs.shopware.com/en/shopware-6-en/catalogs/dynamic-product-groups
6. Select the sales channel for which you want to create the URL.
7. Define the URL template according to your preferences and integrate product variables to make the URLs dynamic.
   
   Example:
   Example 1 (correct): /BrandXY/{productNumber}
   Example 2 (wrong): /BrandY/BlackWeeks/{productNumber} 
   Wrong: Do not include the domain. Instead of www.xy.com/..., it should be only:  /Desired/{Variables}
   
   The following variables are available:
   • {productId}
   • {productNumber}
   • {productEan}
   • {productManufacturerNumber}
   • {productManufacturerId} Example: "/BrandXY/{productNumber}"
8. Save the settings.
   
   

2. Generating URL

1. Click on the yellow "Generate URLs" button to generate the URLs.
2. Depending on the number of products, it may take some time for all URLs to be generated.
   
   

3. Overview of all generated URLs

1. In your Shopware backend, navigate to "Catalogs" > "Product Link Generator".
2. Click on the "Overview of all generated URLs" button.
3. Here you will find a list of all created URLs.
4. If you want to remove a URL, simply click on the ... / "Delete" button next to the corresponding URL.
5. If you want to go back to the "Generate URLs" page, click the "Back" button.
