With this plugin, a customer login and a shared shopping cart is made possible through several language and subshops when changing shops.

Even with different domains this function is available! This allows the customer to easily and conveniently use shopping carts, notepads and address data about all their subshops and language shops without the hassle of logging in and out.

The session is maintained when switching between the individual shops and thus enables an undisturbed and cross-shop shopping experience.In the plugin configuration, you can define yourself which language and subshops you want to group and use the session-wide functionality or exclude shops from the session grouping.

Important:

• Cross-shop users must be activated in the shop settings for a correct cross-shop login / logout!
• Articles are only found in the shop in the search, in which they are also assigned to a category!
• Plugin Version <1.1.6: For a correct presentation and linking of the articles in the shopping cart of the other shops, all articles in each belonging sub - / or language shop MUST be assigned to a category! The assigned category can also be inactive or "hidden".
  

Linking in the shop header (without technical limitation of browsers)
As of version > 3.1.0, a direct link to the other shops can be inserted in the header via the plug-in settings. If the customer clicks on this link, the cross-domain shopping cart does not work when logged in, even without technical browser restrictions (see below).

If the link is solved directly via the template, the following code must be stored as href attribute in the Smarty template:

The shop ID is the database ID of the target shop (e.g. 3) from the table s_core_shops.

Technical limitations of browsers
For technical reasons, the cross-shop shopping cart cannot be ensured for certain browsers with different main domains or can only be ensured by changing a certain configuration.

This concerns:

• Safari on desktop

• All browsers on the IPhone (IOS): e.g. Safari, Chrome, Firefox.

For Safari, it is necessary to change the setting "Prevent cross-site tracking" (desktop) or for Safari IOS "Prevent cross-site tracking".
Chrome and Firefox on IOS (on the IPhone) also have the setting "Allow cross-site tracking" in newer versions, for which a change is required for full functionality.
