Description of the plugin
With the plugin "Optimized display of variants with the image configurator" you can optimize the display of variants with the image configurator (When generating the variants in the tab "Variants" and "Configuration", the value "Picture" must have been selected for "Configurator type", as you can seen here: https://store.shopware.com/media/image/4a/ef/4f/file5cf614ca707a0.png , link to image).
The button for displaying additional variant group options can be displayed either below the variant group options or next to the last variant group option. For the configurations "Button below the variant group options" and "Button next to last variant groups option" you can also specify the number of visible variant group options and the staggering of the next, visible variant group options.
Furthermore, it is also possible to select within the plugin configuration the number of variant group options (3, 4, 5 or 6) placed next to each other.
Insofar as the settings should not be applied to all variant groups, individual variant groups can also be included or excluded. For this, only the ID or the name of the variant group must be set.
In addition, you have the option to display only the text instead of the image in a variant group (for example, for size variants such as "XS", "S", "M", "L" and "XL") and this just as well restrict to individual variant groups.
Furthermore, it can be selected within the plugin configuration whether the preselection should be active for variants with the picture configurator, so that a variant is already preselected and not only a variant must be selected in order to be able to place the article in the shopping cart.
Within the plugin configuration you can also select whether the number of visible variant group options should remain unchanged during the ajax variant change.
Informations about the plugin
(1). Developed according to the new plugin system from shopware 5.2.
(2). Compatible with PHP 7.
(3). Test for 30 days without obligation: with the trial version you can use the plugin for 30 days free of charge and in full directly in your shop.
(4). Compatible themes: this plugin is compatible with the Responsive theme from shopware and themes derived from it. When using a third party theme, which was purchased through the shopware store, the proper use of the plugin can not be guaranteed as with any other shopware plugin.
(5). Subshop compatiblity: the plugin supports subshops and can be activated per subshop.
(6). Unencrypted: the plugin is provided completely open source, so you do not need the license manager from shopware and it can therefore be used without problems without the iOnCube Loader.
(7). Own shopware blocks: the plugin provides its own shopware blocks so you be able to adapt or extend the plugin update safe in your own theme. The names of the corresponding own shopware blocks can be found in the instructions: https://shopwaredemo.digitalwert.de/media/pdf/86/75/29/Guide_OptimizedDisplayVariantsImageConfigurator.pdf.
(8). active variant change via ajax: an active variant change via ajax (shopware standard) is mandatory when using the plugin, as otherwise the main part of the functions of the plugin would make no sense and do not work correctly. You can activate the variant change via ajax under "Configuration" -> "Theme Manager" -> own theme -> "Configure theme" -> tab "Configuration" -> activate "Ajax variant switch", if this has been deactivated.
Install the plugin via the plugin manager and make your desired settings in the plugin configuration. Then empty the cache of the shop and sign up again to the shopware backend if necessary.
Please note: the plugin only works with article variants in connection with the picture configurator. So please make sure that you have selected the value "Picture" in the tab "Variants" and "Configuration" at "Configurator type" when generating the variants as you can seen here: https://store.shopware.com/media/image/4a/ef/4f/file5cf614ca707a0.png , link to image.
