About the Extension

From September 27, 2026, the new EU warranty and guarantee labeling requirements under Directive (EU) 2024/825 will be mandatory for all online retailers — both in online stores and brick-and-mortar retail. This extension handles the entire technical implementation for your Shopware 5 shop automatically and without any development effort.

Einheitliches EU-Label für gesetzliche Gewährleistung & Herstellergarantie – Installation & Konfiguration
Installieren und aktivieren Sie das Plugin.

Nach der Installation werden Ihren Produkten und Herstellern automatisch drei neue benutzerdefinierte Felder hinzugefügt:
Gesetzliche Gewährleistung (Produktattribut) – Aktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen bei einem Produkt, um das Label für die gesetzliche EU-Gewährleistung auf der Produktdetailseite anzuzeigen.
Kommerzielle Herstellergarantie (Produktattribut) – Aktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, um zusätzlich das Label für die kommerzielle Herstellergarantie anzuzeigen.
Dauer der freiwilligen Herstellergarantie in Jahren (Herstellerattribut) – Legen Sie die Anzahl der Jahre für die freiwillige Herstellergarantie direkt im Datensatz des Herstellers fest.

Die Labels für Gewährleistung und Garantie werden automatisch auf der Produktdetailseite angezeigt, sobald die entsprechenden Kontrollkästchen beim Produkt aktiviert sind. Sie werden zudem ohne weitere Konfiguration in der Produktübersicht (Listing) angezeigt.

Plugin-Konfiguration
In der Plugin-Konfiguration finden Sie folgende Optionen:
Gesetzliche Gewährleistung für alle Produkte aktivieren – Klicken Sie auf diese Schaltfläche, um die gesetzliche Gewährleistung für alle Produkte auf einmal zu aktivieren.
Kommerzielle Garantie für alle Produkte aktivieren – Klicken Sie auf diese Schaltfläche, um die kommerzielle Herstellergarantie für alle Produkte auf einmal zu aktivieren.
Kommerzielle Herstellergarantie für alle Produkte deaktivieren – Klicken Sie auf diese Schaltfläche, um die Markierung für die kommerzielle Garantie bei allen Produkten auf einmal zu entfernen.
Gesetzliche Gewährleistung bei ERP-Import automatisch aktivieren – Wählen Sie „Ja“ oder „Nein“. Bei „Ja“ wird das Label für die gesetzliche Gewährleistung bei jedem ERP-Import automatisch für alle Produkte aktiviert. Nur „Ja“ und „Nein“ sind gültige Werte; die Option „Vererbt“ (die Shopware 5 bei anderen Feldern anzeigt) ist hier nicht anwendbar und hat keine Wirkung.
Kommerzielle Herstellergarantie bei ERP-Import automatisch aktivieren – Wählen Sie „Ja“ oder „Nein“. Bei „Ja“ wird das Label für die kommerzielle Herstellergarantie bei jedem ERP-Import automatisch für alle Produkte aktiviert. Auch hier sind nur „Ja“ und „Nein“ gültige Werte.
Modellbezeichnung wählen – Legen Sie fest, welches Produktmerkmal als Modellbezeichnung im EU-Label verwendet wird: entweder die Artikelnummer oder die EAN.
Wählen Sie aus, ob die gesetzliche Gewährleistung auf allen Produktseiten oder nur im Flyout-Warenkorb angezeigt werden soll. Gesetzliche Gewährleistung – Produktübersicht – Legen Sie fest, wie das Label für die gesetzliche Gewährleistung in der Produktübersicht angezeigt wird: „Vorschau anzeigen“ (kleine Vorschau; vollständiges Label bei Klick/Hover/Modal) oder „Vollständiges Label anzeigen“ (vollständiges Label sofort sichtbar). Standard: Vorschau anzeigen. Die kommerzielle Herstellergarantie bleibt unberührt.
Gesetzliche Gewährleistung – Produktinformationen – gleiche Optionen für die Produktdetailseite. Standard: Vorschau anzeigen. Die kommerzielle Herstellergarantie bleibt unberührt.
Gesetzliche Gewährleistung – Warenkorb – gleiche Optionen für den Flyout-Warenkorb. Standard: Vorschau anzeigen.

Leeren Sie den Cache, nachdem Sie Änderungen an der Konfiguration vorgenommen haben!

Einrichtung des Cronjobs
Damit die automatische Zuordnung von gesetzlicher Gewährleistung und Herstellergarantie funktioniert, muss der Shopware-Cronjob auf Ihrem Server aktiv sein. Das Plugin registriert zwei Cronjobs, die alle 5 Minuten ausgeführt werden:

Kommerzielle Herstellergarantie festlegen
Fügen Sie die folgende Zeile zur Crontab Ihres Servers hinzu, um die Shopware-5-Cronjobs zu aktivieren:

Version 1.3.1 – Bugfix

* Fixed: On Shopware versions prior to 5.7.4, opening the shopping cart caused a fatal error as soon as at least one product was in the cart. The cause was the use of a Shopware core class that is only available from version 5.7.4 onwards. The plugin now runs on all Shopware versions from 5.5.0 upwards again, as stated in the compatibility information.

Only installations running Shopware below 5.7.4 were affected. The error did not occur on 5.7.4 and newer. No configuration changes are required after updating.
