This plugin adds an additional tab for product-specific FAQs on the product detail pages. Visitors can ask new questions related to the article. Questions that are already answered and activated in the Product FAQ Manager, and for which the author has a release for publication, are listed in the new tab in the product detail page.
- Installation via the plugin manager
- After installation, activate the plugin, clear the cache and recompile the theme
- Reload the backend
Set up email templates
With the installation of the plugin, a new e-mail template "sARTICLEFAQ" was created under Settings> E-Mail Templates> User E-Mails.
If necessary, adjust them and create translations for existing language subshops.
Management of the article FAQs
In the menu item you will find the new menu item HbcomArticleFaqs. Here you can view customer questions about the articles, answer them and send the answer directly to the customer.
Important: In order for the answer to be sent to the customer, it must first be saved!
Possibility to set an alternative ID to the privacy page in the subshop (e.g. for alternative language)
The activation of the link can be set in the plugin configuration (default is inactive).
Further configuration possibility to open link in new page or modal window.
After changing the configuration, clear the shop cache (configuration, cache, theme compilation).
Bugfix FAQ-Answer from Subshop-FAQ´s. Email configuration from subshop is now used.
- Possibility to enable notification function for admin email. When activated, an infomail will be sent to the Admin for new questions.
