With this plugin, backend users have the option to reset their password themselves. A "reset" link can be requested for a user. It checks for valid users on request.

About the Extension
With this plugin, backend users have the opportunity to start a process to reset their password themselves.
The plugin behaves as follows:
- The password for an existing backend account can be reset using a link in the login screen
- A user name must be entered in the corresponding mask; if there is a user with this name in the backend, an email with a "Reset" link will be sent to the email address stored there. This link has been additionally secured with a hash and is valid for 24 hours.
- Older requests are automatically deleted
- If the link in the mail is clicked by the user, he will be taken to an input mask in which he must enter a new password and a password confirmation. Afterwards, backend access is possible again with the new password.
