Install and activate the plugin.
After installation, three new custom fields are automatically added to your products and manufacturers:
Statutory guarantee (product attribute) – Enable this checkbox on a product to display the EU statutory guarantee label.
Commercial manufacturer's warranty (product attribute) – Enable this checkbox to additionally display the commercial manufacturer's warranty label.
Voluntary manufacturer's warranty duration in years (manufacturer attribute) – Set the number of years for the voluntary manufacturer's warranty directly on the manufacturer record.
The guarantee and warranty labels are shown automatically as soon as the corresponding checkboxes are enabled on a product – where exactly they appear (product listing, product detail page, cart) is defined in the plugin configuration (see below).

Plugin configuration
The plugin configuration provides the following options:
Enable plugin for this shop/sales channel – Enable or disable the plugin for this shop/sales channel, e.g. for B2B shops where the EU labeling is not required.
Enable Statutory Guarantee for all products – Click this button to enable the statutory guarantee for all products at once.
Enable Commercial Warranty for all products – Click this button to enable the commercial manufacturer's warranty for all products at once.
Disable Manufacturer's Commercial Warranty for all products – Click this button to remove the commercial warranty flag from all products at once.
Automatically activate statutory guarantee of conformity on ERP import – Choose "Yes" or "No". If "Yes", the statutory guarantee label is automatically activated for all products on every ERP import. Only "Yes" and "No" are valid values; the "Inherited" option (shown by Shopware 5 on other fields) does not apply here and has no effect.
Automatically activate commercial manufacturer's warranty on ERP import – Choose "Yes" or "No". If "Yes", the commercial warranty label is automatically activated for all products on every ERP import. Again, only "Yes" and "No" are valid values.
Select model identifier – Choose which product attribute is used as the model identifier in the EU label: article number or EAN.
Legal guarantee – Product listing / Product information / Cart – For each of these three display locations, you independently choose how the statutory guarantee label is presented there:
– Don't show: The label is fully hidden at this location.
– Show small image (default): A small preview of the label is shown; the full label opens in a modal on click/hover.
– Show large image: The full-size label is displayed immediately.
The three display locations can be configured completely independently of one another – e.g. "Show large image" in the cart, "Show small image" on the product page, and "Don't show" in the product listing. The commercial manufacturer's warranty is not affected by these settings and remains visible everywhere.

Setting up the cron job
For the automatic assignment of the statutory guarantee and manufacturer's warranty to work, the Shopware cron job must be active on your server. The plugin registers two cron jobs that run every 5 minutes:
Set statutory guarantee for products
Set commercial manufacturer's warranty
Add the following line to your server's crontab to activate the Shopware 5 cron jobs:
*/15 * * * * wget -q http://www.myshop.com/backend/cron
1.4.1 5.5.0 - 5.7.20
- fix: New per-shop "Default language" option; used whenever the shop's language cannot be determined, instead of silently falling back to English.
1.4.0 5.5.0 - 5.7.20
- feat: Added "Don't show" option for the guarantee label in listing, product page and cart; removed old display-location setting; fixed large-label listing layout bug.
1.3.1 5.5.0 - 5.7.20
Version 1.3.1 – Bugfix
* Fixed: On Shopware versions prior to 5.7.4, opening the shopping cart caused a fatal error as soon as at least one product was in the cart. The cause was the use of a Shopware core class that is only available from version 5.7.4 onwards. The plugin now runs on all Shopware versions from 5.5.0 upwards again, as stated in the compatibility information.
Only installations running Shopware below 5.7.4 were affected. The error did not occur on 5.7.4 and newer. No configuration changes are required after updating.
1.3.0 5.5.0 - 5.7.20
- Configuration of display mode (preview or full label) for the legal guarantee label in listing, product information and cart
1.2.0 5.5.0 - 5.7.20
- Commercial warranty overridable per product: inherit manufacturer value or manually disable or set custom warranty years
1.1.1 5.5.0 - 5.7.20
- Configuration to display statutory guarantee on product pages or only in flyout cart
1.1.0 5.5.0 - 5.7.20
