This plugin is from the successful Plugin "B2B: First and last name is not required" emerged. In contrast to the B2B plugin, only the field "Salutation" is not a mandatory field. So it is also applicable in B2C shops, if you want to give their customers more choice. Also it is possible with this plugin to completely remove the salutation from the template and thus from the frontend. In addition to the adjustments in the frontend, it also adjusts the validation in the backend. So it is also possible to create customers without salutation via the API.
