Optimized Infinite Scrolling

Many shops use the infinite scrolling feature to allow customers to browse easily through categories with many products without the need to switch pages.

For customers who simply want to stroll through a shop often aren’t interested in the total number of products in the category. They keep scrolling until until an interesting product shows up or they reach the end of the list.

If a customer has a specific mission however he might be interested in the total number of products in the category and the number of products that are left to see. For these users Shopware doesn’t provide the necessary information.

Our plugin fills this gap and adds a progress bar to the “load more products” button which shows how many products are in the category and how many products have already been displayed so that customers can scroll on and see how many of the available products they have already seen.
