About the Extension

Google Taxonomy / Shopping

In Shopware's standard, there is no way to match the shop categories with Google's categories. If you still want to offer your products to Google, it is useful to think about purchasing this plugin.

Our plugin automatically provides you with all Google categories in your shop categories. After the installation, a new Google Taxonomy fieldset is available in the categories. From now on, you can conveniently select and store the corresponding Google category in a combo box. From now on this is available in the product expansions. To make the work faster, a search function is also available. Just type "pants" and you will see all the Google categories where the word "pants" occurs.

If required - output of all free-text fields from the categories in the product exports. We do not overwrite any hypertext fields, we create our own category fields.

He who seeks finds

The mapping of the shop categories with the Google categories can be a rather elaborate task since the Google Category structure contains several hundred categories. For simplicity, you can write a term into the text field, thus simplifying the search for the right category.

What can I use the additional free text fields for?

Often, characteristics have to be passed on to Google for different product groups. Other features are e.g. B. Condition, energy efficiency class, color, age group etc.

I have an article in several categories, which one is shown in the feed and can I influence it?

The plugin always takes the category that was assigned to the article first. If you prefer a different category, you can influence it with the help of the SEO category. They are still before the first assignment of a category.
