About the Extension
With the extension DHL Preferred Delivery you can offer your customers all services for an individual parcel receipt. Besides the use of Parcelstations and branches as alternative delivery address, you can offer your customers other services for a flexible parcel receipt at home.
Range of functions
The plugin extends all forms for the indication of the delivery address in the frontend. The addresses of Parcelstations and Post offices can be easily found via the integrated location finder and added as delivery address with only one click. If your customer indicates a Preferred location or neighbor, shipments will be deposited there if he is not at home. You can also offer your customers the possibility to choose their Preferred day or time for the delivery.

The integration of the plugin in your online shop guarantees that you are offering the latest preferred delivery services of DHL. As the delivery addresses are automatically processed, the risk of false addresses and resulting undeliverable shipments is reduced.
The flexible services lead to a better delivery rate at the first attempt and thus increases customer satisfaction, binds existing customers and increases order frequency.

Please note:
A “Google Maps API Key” is required for a complete installation.
The plugin contains a tracking pixel due to reporting purposes of preferred services. Its output is the URL where the preferred services are integrated via plugin as well as the number of plugin calls every 30 days. There is no personal data created or collected.
In case you like to offer direct shipment to DHL parcelshops or post offices, please note the following phrase of the DHL Paket Service Specifications (annex to the business customer contract): “The sender guarantees that he is entitled to transmit his customers’ e-mail addresses to DHL for the purpose of the parcel notification.”

DHL AdapterThe DHL Adapter Plugin makes it easy to create shipping and return labels in the Shopware Backend. The DHL adapter connects the online shop directly to the DHL business customer portal. From the DHL Adapter Plugin Version 4.6.0 the Preferred Delivery Service Data will adjust automatically.
