About the Extension

Now with native support for Google Analytics 4!


With version 3.0.0 of our plugin, we bring native support for Google Analytics 4 (GA4). The following events are supported:

  • view_item_list
  • view_item
  • view_cart
  • begin_checkout
  • select_item
  • add_to_cart
  • remove_from_cart
  • purchase
  • confirm_order (custom event for the checkout/confirm page)
  • add_payment_info


Version 3.0.0 can be used with Shopware versions 5.6.3 and higher. In case you are using an older version of Shopware, you can still use GA4 through a workaround, which we have described here: https://www.codiverse.de/use-google-analytics-4-now-google-tag-manager-template-for-activating-ga4-tags-using-the-codiverse-plugin/

CAUTION: This is a major update, ensuring out-of-the-box compatibility to Google Analytics 4. Google announced that the old Universal Analytics (UA) will no more be available as per 07/01/2023. Updating to this version will deactivate the old Enhanced Ecommerce structure (we included an option to bring it back for a limited amount of time) and activate the new GA4-structure. Please check your GTM and GA4 setup immediately after updating to this plugin version. More information will soon be available at: https://www.codiverse.de/category/blog/

Für uns ein unverzichtbares Plugin - den gesamten Shop mit jedem Produkt manuell mit einer DataLayer für Remarketing und enhanced e-commerce Tracking zu versorgen, ist einfach ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit. Das Plugin springt hier helfend ein.
Toller Support, der bei der Einrichtung sehr geholfen hat!

Ich kann Google Tag Manager + Remarketing + Enhanced Ecommerce sehr empfehlen. Man kann damit sehr einfach Ecommerce Tracking umsetzen. Die Entwickler haben auf Anfrage das page hiding snippet für google optimize implementiert und sie antworten sehr schnell. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Wir haben seit wenigen Tagen das Plugin im Einsatz und sind soweit sehr zufrieden. Das Plugin macht genau das was es soll. Dank GTM lassen sich nun auch Events tracken die wir vorher nicht tracken konnten!

Was als User extrem hilfreich wäre, wäre eine Doku wie die Grundeinstellungen in Google Tag Manager wie auch in Analytics für Shopware umgesetzt werden könnten. Allerdings hat diese Doku weniger mit dem Plugin an sich zu tun sondern viel mehr mit den "Grundeinstellungen" der Google Tools in Zusammenhang mit Shopware > Evtl. könnte hier Shopware etwas Input geben.

Tolles Plugin das alle Analytics und nötigen GTM Funktionen super in Shopware einbindet. sehr einfach zu installieren und zu konfigurieren.

Das Beste aber: auf unseren Hinweis hin an den Support, dass das Aktionen / Gutscheincodes über das Plugin "Advanced Promotion Suite" nicht getrackt werden, hat man das innerhalb weniger Tage auch integriert und ein Update nach geschoben - ganz toller Service!
