About the Extension

From September 27, 2026, the new EU warranty and guarantee labeling requirements under Directive (EU) 2024/825 will be mandatory for all online retailers — both in online stores and brick-and-mortar retail. This extension handles the entire technical implementation for your Shopware 5 shop automatically and without any development effort.

Uniform EU Label for Warranty & Guarantee – Installation & Configuration
Install and activate the plugin.
After installation, three new custom fields are automatically added to your products and manufacturers:

Statutory guarantee of conformity (product attribute) – tick this checkbox on a product to display the statutory EU guarantee label on its detail page.
Commercial manufacturer's warranty (product attribute) – tick this checkbox to additionally display the commercial warranty label.
Voluntary manufacturer's warranty years (manufacturer attribute) – set the number of years for the voluntary manufacturer's warranty directly on the manufacturer record.

The guarantee and warranty labels are automatically shown on the product detail page as soon as the respective checkboxes are enabled on the product. They are also displayed on the product listing without any additional configuration.

Clear the cache after installing the plugin!

Plugin Configuration
In the plugin configuration you will find the following options:

Enable Statutory Guarantee for all products – click this button to activate the statutory guarantee of conformity for all products at once with a single click.
Enable Commercial Warranty for all products – click this button to activate the commercial manufacturer's warranty for all products at once.
Disable Manufacturer's Commercial Warranty for all products – click this button to remove the commercial warranty flag from all products at once.
Automatically activate statutory guarantee of conformity on ERP import – select Yes or No. When set to Yes, the statutory guarantee label is automatically applied to all products on every ERP import. Only Yes and No are valid values; the "Inherited" option that Shopware 5 may show in other fields does not apply here and has no effect.
Automatically activate commercial manufacturer's warranty on ERP import – select Yes or No. When set to Yes, the commercial warranty label is automatically applied to all products on every ERP import. Only Yes and No are valid values here as well.
Select model identifier – choose which product identifier is used as the model identifier in the EU label: either the Article number or the EAN.

Clear the cache after making changes to the configuration!

Cronjob Setup
In order for the automatic guarantee and warranty assignment to work, the Shopware cron must be active on your server. The plugin registers two cronjobs that run every 5 minutes:

Set Statutory Guarantee for Products

Set Commercial Manufacturer Warranty

Add the following line to your server's crontab to enable Shopware 5 cronjobs:
