About the Extension

When a plugin is updated or uninstalled, the Shopware plugin „EKW Element Backup: Automatic recovery of elements“ creates a backup file of the elements within the respective plugin in your Shopware shop. Therefore, after a plugin update or reinstallation, all relative elements of the Shopping Worlds of this plugin are still available.


Thereby, the plugin „EKW Element Backup: Automatic recovery of elements“ saves all elements from the respective plugin in a backup file, when it is updated or reinstalled. At the end of the installation, the plugin reads the backup file and writes it to the Shopware database. This process works automatically. No further steps are required.


Important

If a plugin is updated or uninstalled, you must select in the dialog box that the data should not be deleted. Otherwise, the plugin cannot create a backup file and all your data of your elements of the Shopping Worlds within the respective plugin will be deleted.
