About the Extension

Anyone who offers items in their online shop that are only sold for a limited period of time must delete them or manually move them to the archive. Think, for example, of electronic products that appear in new versions in ever shorter cycles or tickets for an event.

This article maintenance can quickly become tedious, especially in large shops. With ArticleArchive, you as a shop operator can maintain an archive date for every article from which it is automatically moved to an archive category. From this point on, the product can no longer be ordered.

A big advantage: the content remains in the shop after archiving and can still be found by the search engines. This can be useful, for example, for operating instructions or downloads for electrical devices.
