About the Extension

Google Sitemap Generator

The Google Sitemap Generator extends the standard XML functionality of Shopware. It enables the exclusion of individual categories, subcategories and articles out of the sitemap for example. Therefore, the search engines can concentrate on specific pages. Also under the call-up of /sitemap.xml will appear a grouped view on the single sitemaps.

With the sitemap index created by this plugin, the standard sitemap from Shopware will be significantly upgraded:

Article sitemap
Category sitemap
Blog sitemap
Images sitemap
Producer sitemap

IMPORTANT: Google is able to handle a maximum of 50.000 entries per sitemap in the Webmaster Tools (Search Console). If you have more than 50.000 entries by the articles for example, another sitemap will be created automatically.

Example:

You have got 80.000 Images in your shop. Thus, the first image sitemap contains 50.000 entries whereby the second image sitemap contains 30.000 entries.

Das Plugin "Google Sitemap Generator" wurde von Pixup Media als kompatibel für Shopware 5.3.0 - 5.3.7 angeboten, was sich leider als falsch herausstellte. Das wurde sogar seitens Pixup Media bestätigt, dass unsere Shopverison zu alt ist - trotzdem erklären Sie sich nicht zu einer Stornierung bereit. Wir müssen nun leider rechtliche Schritte gegen Pixup Media veranlassen.

Das Plugin ist mit Ihrer Version kompatibel. Es sind andere Faktoren innerhalb des Shops, dass die Funktionsweise des Google Sitemap Generators stört. Unsere Lösungsansätze werden ignoriert. Stattdessen wollen Sie sechs Monate nach Erwerb eine Erstattung, obwohl Sie 30 Tage Zeit hatten, das Plugin vollkommen unverbindlich zu testen. Sie sind gar nicht daran interessiert, dass das Plugin funktioniert, da Sie unsere Hilfe nicht annehmen wollen.

Super Plugin! Support sehr nett!

Tolles Plugin

Das Plugin habe ich eingesetzt, um österreichischen Kunden die entsprechenden Buchpreise anzeigen zu können. Durch die Einbindung des Sprachshops mit hreflang (bin kein Programmierer ;-) ) konnte dies auch Google-konform umgesetzt werden. Ich hatte vorher Geo-IP im Einsatz, was meine Sitemap vor dem Google-Bot unsichtbar gemacht hat.
Alle anfänglichen Probleme wurden von Herrn Wagner beseitigt.

Es wurden mehrere Mail an den Anbieter geschrieben auch die Anfragen direkt über den Shopware Store wurden ignoriert

Schade eigentlich Super Idee hinter dem Plugin aber kein Support und keine Dokumentation ist dann einfach zu teuer für dieses Plugin

Somit habt Ihr einen Käufer verloren

Die Dokumentation wird noch verbessert, aktuell weiß man nicht wie sich die Einstellungen letztendlich auswirken und wie die Sitemap am Ende aussehen wird.
Mehr gibt es aber absolut nicht auszusetzen.

Das Plugin funktioniert ohne Probleme. Endlich kann ich Google die gesamte Sitemap zur Verfügung stellen (über 180000 Produkte). Der Support ist hervorragend und antwortet sofort.
