Here is how PayPal works:
Your customer decides he would like to pay securely using PayPal. He is then passed over to PayPal, where he enters his account details and confirms his purchase.
PayPal then transfers the money from the customer’s PayPal account to yours. The procedure is as fast as sending an email.
You are then free to ship the ordered goods without waiting for the payment. This is where customer satisfaction comes in to play.

Super schnittstelle
Absolut zufrieden mit dem Paypal-Plugin.
Die Einrichtung und Konfiguration war selbst für uns als Laien kein Problem. Alle Fragen Rund um die Zugangsdaten für die Nutzung des Plugins wurden direkt mit Paypal geklärt. Auch dies verlief unkompliziert und schnell.
Das Plugin macht was es soll, Fehlermeldungen seitens Paypal (z.B. bei Ablehnung aufgrund fehlender Deckung) werden gut und nachvollziehbar von der Paypal-API dokumentiert und im Backend von Shopware ausgegeben.
Stornierungen über das Shopware Backend sind bislang kein Problem (im Gegensatz zu unserem alten Prestashop).
Das Plugin wird regelmäßig seitens Shopware gewartet und upgedated, so dass wir keinerlei negative Bemerkungen zu diesem Plugin machen können.
Wir sind absolut zufrieden mit der Qualität des Plugin.
