Google Gtag Tracking (Analytics UA / GA4, AdWords)

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Delete all caches and reload frontend / backend with Shift+Reload.

Please note about GA4!

The possibility to track with GA4 is only available from Shopware version 5.6.3!

Help if the backend is no longer accessible after updating these Biloba plugins

If the backend of the store is no longer accessible, the Biloba Gtag plugin must first be deactivated in the database.

1. Deactivate the plugin in the table s_core_plugins
2. Empty the cache
3. Update the plugin in the backend
4. Delete Biloba Base plugin

Optional feature "Set up extended conversions

• Activate option in the plugin
• Set up Google AdWords according to these instructions(https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9888145). Use "General website tag" as the tag type and select the "Edit code" option during setup.

Dynamic remarketing

Please select the corresponding feed type key in the configuration, this key is necessary for dynamic remarketing. See link ([https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/7305793?hl=de&ref_topic=10070037#zippy=]).

Opt-out link for Google Analytics

Our plugin supports an opt-out link with which users can deactivate tracking via Google Analytics in your store. To activate the opt-out link, please include the following HTML code on any page of your store (e.g. in the privacy policy): <a >Disable Google Analytics</a>

Instead of the "#" insert "javascript:gaOptout()".

FAQ

1. Why are events no longer being fired? - In most cases it is because you are using a custom theme, a custom consent manager or an adblocker.

2. Where can I find the GA4 ID? - You must first create a separate property in Google Analytics, where you will then find the GA4 ID (Measurement ID) within the newly created property under "Data streams - Web". To do this, please click on the corresponding property. You will now see the measurement ID in the top right-hand corner. 3. Important: Please deactivate Shopware's Google Services and other plugins that use Google Analytics tracking if you use our plugin. Parallel tracking can lead to unforeseen problems.

4. Where can I find the conversion ID?

   • Log in to your Google Ads account.
   • Click on the tool icon (wrench icon) in the top right corner of the screen.
   • Select "Measurement" and click on "Conversions" from the drop-down menu.
   • Select the conversion action for which you need the ID and click on the pencil icon next to the name of the conversion action.
   • You will find the "Conversion ID" in the conversion action settings.

5. Where can I find the Google AdWords ID?

   • Log in to your Google Ads account.
   • Click on the tool icon (wrench icon) in the top right corner of the screen.
   • Click on "Account Information" in the "Setup" drop-down menu.
   • The AdWords ID will be displayed under "Account ID".
   • Alternatively, you can also check the URL of your AdWords account. The AdWords ID is displayed in the URL as "cid" followed by a number. For example: https://adwords.google.com/um/GetAccountSettings?__u=0&__c=1234567890&authuser=0. In this example, "1234567890" is the AdWords ID.
