About the Extension

With the Shopware plugin Virtual Variants, you can combine individual Shopware articles and display them visually as variants. This can be necessary, for example, if you import your articles from an external merchandise management system and no variants are supported.


The configuration is very simple and can also be done through an external merchandise management system or interface. All you have to do is to provide the variant group a name and an article attribute that you want to use to combine the articles. This must be identical for all articles that belong together. For example, you can use the manufacturer's article number or a freely chosen character string. The content has to be exactly the same for all common articles.
