That's why you should rely on q.address!

q.address supports your store customers in entering their billing and shipping addresses with smart assistance, including AutoComplete, AutoFill and AutoCorrect. As an app ("App First"), it supports all Shopware platforms Cloud (SaaS), Paas and Self-hosted.

In doing so, q.address works with the reference data of Deutsche Post (Datafactory) and national organizations. This guarantees up-to-date results that are consistent with the postal organisations' systems. Correct addresses also improve the address quality in your downstream systems (CRM, ERP, merchandise management) and make it easier to recognise and avoid duplicates.

q.address supports all standard and self-customized or newly created form variants and optionally adapts them to your wishes, for example by moving the country in first place of address or the street behind the postal code and city name. Additional data fields such as a separate house number (including automatic splitting of the house number), the district, the federal state (or canton), the community key or the DHL street code required for the routing code (DHL Leitcode) can also be provided. In all this, q.address is responsive, so that it is also optimally presented on smartphones and tablets.

q.address is characterised by its user-friendliness, corrects input errors, makes suggestions for corrections and completes entries where possible and useful. As the address is entered at the end of the order process, it is important that your customers find the usual and uncomplicated way of entering their address so that they do not cancel their order at the last moment!

What does it cost to use the app?

The app itself is free of charge, as are the tests during the trial period. You can get started with your test immediately after installation - no API key or registration required. The tests in your development store are also free of charge. Only the tests for productive use in your online store are charged. The costs are staggered according to the number of tests. Examples: 5.5 cents (for 12,000 to 30,000 addresses p.a.); 2.5 cents (for 500,000 addresses p.a.); 1.55 cents (for 1 million addresses p.a.). Pay as you go" billing is based on monthly consumption; alternatively, you can also purchase particularly favorable annual budgets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which countries are covered? q.address checks 175 countries worldwide down to street level. For Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein ("DACH" for short), we use reference data that is available locally on our cloud servers. As a German software developer, this enables us to use our own search algorithms, which provide outstanding quality and user-friendliness for the DACH region. For the other countries, we rely on web services from renowned third-party providers. This proven combination enables us to deliver first-class address verification results worldwide.
What makes the app so user-friendly? When integrating address verification into Shopware online stores, our main focus was on user-friendliness for store visitors. q.address integrates seamlessly into your forms and does not surprise visitors with unfamiliar processes. The information provided is always relevant and facilitates smooth address entry, even in complicated cases. What about reliability and SLA? The q.address cloud services are hosted redundantly at various german locations with an expected availability of over 99.9% p.a. with 24/7 operation. Due to the redundancy of the servers, server failures - for example due to maintenance work or technical faults - do not result in any interruptions to operations. Should the servers nevertheless be unavailable in exceptional cases (this may also be due to faults in the visitor's Internet connection), the client application (front-end) recognizes this and switches off the check. The visitor can continue shopping unaffected, except that the address check is omitted.
Can I also host the q.address cloud services locally? Yes, you have the option of hosting q.address Cloud Services in your own data centers. However, even in this case, we recommend leaving our q.address Cloud Services as a back-up to increase reliability.

Ein unverzichtbares Tool für effiziente Adressverwaltung

Seit nunmehr vier Monaten bin ich Nutzer dieser Erweiterung und mein Fazit fällt durchweg positiv aus.

Einfache Integration:
Die Implementierung der Erweiterung gestaltet sich als äußerst benutzerfreundlich. Ohne großen Aufwand transformiert sie das Eingabeformular in ein modernes Design. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die intuitive Wohnort-spezifische Autovervollständigung, die dem Kunden die Eingabe von Adressdaten erheblich erleichtert. Zwar besteht die Möglichkeit, beim klassischen Formular zu bleiben, doch die Vorteile des neuen Formulars, insbesondere die zielführende Unterstützung bei der Eingabe der Adresse ind Abhängigkeit der Angabe der Stadt, sind unbestreitbar.

Effizienzsteigerung:
Dank dieser Erweiterung hat sich der manuelle Aufwand zur Korrektur nicht leitcodierbarer Adressen drastisch reduziert. Anpassungen sind nur noch in seltenen Fällen notwendig, beispielsweise wenn Kunden bewusst korrekte Eingaben überstimmen. Solche Fälle sind jedoch die Ausnahme und betreffen bei uns lediglich ca. 1 von 200 Adressen.

Kosten-Nutzen-Verhältnis:
Zugegeben, die Erweiterung ist nicht kostenlos. Doch nach einer 30-tägigen Testphase unter realen Bedingungen wird schnell klar: Die investierte Gebühr wird durch die eingesparte Zeit mehr als wettgemacht. Selbst bei einem Mindestlohn von 12 € amortisiert sich die Investition bereits nach ca. 1,5 Stunden Arbeitszeit-Einsparung (bezogen auf alle Aufwändungen)

Zuverlässigkeit:
Ein weiterer unschätzbarer Vorteil ist die Gewissheit, dass die Adressen stets korrekt sind. Das Vertrauen in die Genauigkeit der Daten ist immens gestiegen und die Sorge vor kostenpflichtigen Korrekturen durch den Versanddienstleister sind weg.

Kundenservice:
Ein besonderes Lob verdient der Support. Nicht nur ist dieser stets erreichbar und liefert prompte Antworten, sondern zeigt auch ein offenes Ohr für Kundenfeedback. Es wird deutlich, dass hier ein echtes Interesse an einer langfristigen Kundenbindung besteht und nicht nur kurzfristiger Profit im Vordergrund steht; nach dem Motto: die Kuh wird nicht nur gemolken, sondern auch ständig gefüttert.

Fazit:
Insgesamt handelt es sich um eine herausragende Erweiterung, für die es meiner Meinung nach aktuell keine gleichwertige Alternative auf dem Markt gibt. Ein absolutes Muss für alle, die Wert auf effiziente und zuverlässige Adressverwaltung legen und mit der kostbaren Arbeitszeit besser umzugehen wissen.

Das Plugin ist echt toll und nützlich. Es verkürzt durch die Vorgaben den Anmeldeprozess. Hilfestellung beim Support war toppi. Weiter so.

The extension is installed as usual via the Shopware Store or the administration of your store. The extension is ready to use immediately after installation, so you can start testing it straight away. It couldn't be easier!
