  • What is included in a free Channable trial account? When you create an account with Channable, you will automatically have a 'Trial' account. You can easily test the services and see if they meet your needs. With this type of account you will be able to check if you can set your import correctly and start optimizing your data. An initial setup for an export channel and technical support to help you become familiar with the tool are included as well.
  • How does the billing process work? Charging monthly provides flexibility. Channable invoices in advance, meaning that you will receive an invoice from Channable on the 20th of each month for the following month. Therefore, if you wish to make any changes to your subscription, such as downgrading your subscription, you need to do this before the 20th of the month.
  • How can I contact the Channable team with my questions? Channable can be contacted via email and phone and the technical support is available from Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm CET. You can find all contact options on https://www.channable.com/contact.

Worthless plugin

It's perplexing that this module has received approval from Shopware. Demanding a connection to Channable within 30 minutes—or facing the need to uninstall and reinstall the module—is hardly a best practice, especially on a production server.

Additionally, the requirement to install it directly from the app store should not be obligatory. For those working with version control and deployment tools like DeployHQ, enabling direct app store installs is a practice best avoided to prevent composer issues and conflicts.

Furthermore, the support team's unwillingness to schedule a (video) support call to guide through the necessary steps is disappointing. Instead, they insist on obtaining login credentials for our live environment to remove and (re)install the app, which is unacceptable on a critical production server.

Overall, this experience has been highly disappointing. I'm compelled to cancel our Channable subscription and search for alternatives. Hopefully, I find one quickly, as we have been offline for over a week now.

I previously rated the app very low, from my frustration to get it working. Now that the app is running and I forgot the pain, I am rating it higher, and that is only because of the prompt/helpful support I received lately.
I am going to do Channable also a favour to mention here how to install the plugin.
1- The plugin has to be installed though the app store directly inside your website. 2- You have to connect to the Channable server whin 30 min otherwise it won't be install and you have to uninstall the plugin and try again.

First make sure you have a Channable account, and that you are logged in. Then proceed with the following steps:

 

1. Install app

The app can be installed in two ways: via the Shopware administration or via Composer. 


Installation via Shopware administration

  • Log in to your Shopware 6 administrator panel
  • Navigate to Extensions > Store
  • Search for "Channable", and select the "Channable Integration" app
  • Click "Add extension"
  • Follow the steps in the installation wizard
  • Navigate to Extensions > My extensions and click "Install" for the Channable app


Installation via Composer

  • On store.shopware.com, search for the "Channable Integration" app. 
  • Add the app to cart and proceed to checkout.
  • Ensure to select your shop's domain in the checkout page.
  • Click "Complete payment" to finish setting up the license. Since the app is free to install, nothing will be charged. 
  • Navigate to account.shopware.com and log in. 
  • In the "Merchant" section of your account, navigate to "Shops" and select the correct shop
  • Scroll down to the "License list" and click on "Channable Integration"
  • Click on the "Install via Composer" button. A pop-up opens with further instructions. Follow these to complete installation. 


Note: perform the following steps within 24 hours of installation. If more than 24 hours have passed between installation and connection to Channable, the app needs to be de-installed and re-installed. 


2. Connect with Channable

  • Activate the app, and navigate to Settings > Connect to Channable. Press the blue "Connect to Channable" button.  
  • You will now be redirected to Channable, where you need to click on "Add connection" to create the connection with Shopware 6. 
  • Make sure to select a sales channel from the dropdown, and click "Save". 


3. Import your products

  • Create a new project in Channable, or open an existing project. 
  • Go to "Setup > Setup Import". 
  • Select the Shopware connection that you've just created.  
  • Make sure you select the correct language for your import from the dropdown under "Choose language", and click "Save". 
  • You will now be directed to the mapping. At the bottom of the page, click on "Save & import", and your items will start importing from Shopware into Channable!


Add another Shopware Connection

To add a connection to another sales channel, you can simply start the process again at step 2 - by clicking the "Connect to Channable" button again in your Shopware backend.
