About the Extension

WebP Optimizer is a Shopware app for SaaS stores that automatically converts image media to WebP without changing your daily workflow.

After activation, the app starts a full conversion of existing media files (for example product images, category images, and CMS media). For every new media upload, conversion is triggered immediately through webhook processing, so your media library stays optimized continuously.

The app focuses on practical performance improvements: smaller image payloads, faster page rendering, and lower bandwidth usage across desktop and mobile.
