About the Extension

Advanced Google Analytics 4 integration for Shopware 6.


The Google Analytics 4 integration uses the events:


• add_to_cart

• login

• search

• view_search_results

• sign_up

• begin_checkout

• checkout_progress

• purchase

• remove_from_cart

• view_item_list

• view_item


Data for Google Analytics 4 will only be tracked, if the customer allowes trackinv via consent-management.


Also this extension includes tracking using URL parameters. Regardless of which platform the potential customers come from - they can always be assigned.


The desired referrer is saved both in the customer profile and in the order to enable a detailed evaluation. In the Shopware Dashboard there is a graphical evaluation for a quick overview; reports can also be downloaded via CSV. This function is particularly interesting for agencies if a success fee is used for campaigns.


The plugin also offers the option of setting a corresponding cookie in addition to session tracking. This also enables tracking if the customer leaves the page in the meantime and returns at a later point in time. The registration of the cookie and the period of validity can be set.

More features will be added in future versions. 

Configuration regarding Google Analytics 4:

Just setup the Google Analytics 4 ID in the plugin configuration, activate the usage of tracking cookies in the plugin configuration, clear cache and you are ready to go.

es tut uns leid zu hören, dass Sie Probleme mit dem Plugin haben.
Gerne möchten wir den Fehler verstehen und lösen.

Uns sind mit der neusten Plugin-Version bislang keine Fehler bekannt. Es ist jedoch leider grundsätzlich nicht auszuschließen, dass Inkompatiblitäten mit anderen Plugins z.B. Dritt-Software bestehen, das können wir trotz umfangreichen Tests im Vorfeld leider niemals komplett ausschließen.
Gerne möchten wir Ihnen helfen das Problem zu lösen.

Die Idee und Ansatz ist sehr gut. Leider wird die Erweiterung nicht weiter gepflegt. Man kann keinen Zeitraum auswählen. Schade!

Blockt unser Cookie Popup und Nichts ist machbar. Wären froh über ein Update, welches das Problem behebt, um eine positivere Rezension schreiben zu können.

Endlich wieder zuverlässige Erfassung von Umsätzen bei unseren Marketingaktivitäten (Newsletter, Adwords, Social Media ...), was das Cookie Thema ja nahezu zunichte gemacht hat. Lt. Hersteller soll es hier auch noch Erweiterungen und Verbesserungen geben. Sind gespannt.
