About the Extension

This plugin provides CMS elements that allow categories to be linked together. New custom fields are created for this purpose. You have the option to adjust the following values:

Short category name
Custom category name
Subtitle for a category
Which categories should be linked to this category

The shopping experience can now be added to category pages and pulls information directly from the category itself. This makes it flexible for use with any category without the need to adjust the shopping experience for each category individually.

The linked categories are now displayed as so-called "pills" (see screenshot).

The shopping experience offers extensive display options, allowing you to configure various layouts. The following options are available:

Display category title
Always display the name assigned to the category (instead of the short name)
Display category subtitle
Show a border around the pills
Rounded corners for the pills
Filter to display only categories that have a short name configured
Option to hide the entire CMS block in the frontend if no linked categories are found
Background color and text color of the pills can be customized using a color picker
