About the Extension

The Open New Tab extension allows internal links and "Edit" menu items in the administration to be opened in a new browser tab.

Does this sound familiar? You click on a link. Suddenly, the list containing, for example, products that you just filtered and browsed through is no longer there. Navigating back to the original page takes time and is frustrating. Links and edit menu items that open in the same tab can severely impact your productivity – and it doesn't have to be that way.

This extension solves this problem. Links open in a new tab. Your source page remains intact, you retain control and can compare and edit multiple pieces of content in parallel – without constant interruptions. This makes your workflow more efficient and gives you a better overview.

You can customize which edit menu items and links in the lists should be opened in a separate tab.
