About the Extension
SEO Optimization covers everything from bulk meta tag generation to structured data, redirects and sitemap control - all managed directly inside the Administration.
Bulk Generator Create meta titles, meta descriptions, Open Graph and Twitter/X tags for all your products or categories at once using customisable templates. Variables like ##name##, ##manufacturer##, ##price## or ##shopName## are available. Templates are processed in batches of 500, and a live preview lets you test results with real product or category data before running.
Extended SEO Tabs Every product and category gets a dedicated SEO tab with a live Google SERP preview, character count indicators, individual robots tag, canonical URL configuration, Open Graph/Twitter tags and sitemap settings - all saved in one click without leaving the edit page.
Canonical URL Control Set the canonical to a custom URL, point it to another product or a category, or use the global setting to automatically inherit the parent product canonical for all variants. This is the recommended way to prevent Google from indexing variant pages separately. The setting can be overridden per product.
JSON-LD Rich Snippets Replaces the default Microdata with Google-recommended JSON-LD. The product snippet includes name, description, price, currency, stock availability, brand, EAN/GTIN, aggregate rating and individual reviews. The organisation snippet covers type, URL, logo, phone and email - configurable in the plugin settings. Product condition (New, Used, Refurbished, Damaged) and a custom SKU can be set per product in the SEO tab.
301 / 302 Redirect Manager Create permanent and temporary redirects targeting external URLs, products or categories. GET parameters can optionally be forwarded to the target. Bulk management is possible via CSV import and export.
robots.txt Editor Edit your robots.txt content directly in the administration, per sales channel. The sitemap URL can be automatically appended. If a physical /public/robots.txt file exists it takes priority.
Sitemap Control Globally exclude URLs tagged as noindex, exclude URLs where the canonical path does not match the SEO URL path, or replace variant URLs with the parent product URL. Per-product and per-category sitemap inclusion and priority can be configured individually in the SEO tab.

After activation go to Settings → Plugins → SEO Optimization to enable JSON-LD, configure the organisation snippet and set sitemap rules. Individual product and category settings are available in the SEO tab of each entry. Documentation, redirects and the bulk generator are accessible under SEO Optimization in the main navigation.
