About the Extension

Purpose of the Plugin

In Shopware, there is no standard option for defining successor items for products or discontinued models and displaying them on the product detail page. With our plugin, you can easily assign one or more successor items to a product in the Shopware admin area and display them on the product detail page based on rules

Flexible display controllable via plugin configuration

The plugin settings offer helpful configuration options. This makes it possible to flexibly control the display of the successor item – either permanently or depending on conditions such as sales indicator, minimum order quantity, stock level or delivery time.

Rule-controlled display of successor items

When creating successor items, additional rules can be defined to control the display in the storefront in a targeted manner – for example, depending on customer groups, delivery countries or other conditions.

Successor items configurable at variant level

Successor items can also be maintained at variant level. This ensures that the customer is directed to the appropriate variant of the successor product – for example, in terms of size, colour or model.

Multiple successor items configurable

Optionally, multiple successor items can be stored for a product. These can be prioritised or displayed dynamically depending on defined rules in order to always present the most relevant successor items for the customer.
