About the Extension

Purpose of the plugin

This plugin lets you set a separate default shipping country for each domain of a sales channel. When a domain is accessed for the first time, its configured country is used as the shipping country. Multiple domains within the same sales channel can therefore start with different country contexts.

Set a default shipping country for each domain
The country is selected directly in the settings of the respective sales channel domain. For example, an Austrian domain can use Austria as its default shipping country, while a German domain uses Germany.

Use the appropriate price and tax context
The default shipping country is taken into account when the sales channel context is created. Country-dependent prices and taxes can therefore be calculated using the country assigned to the domain from the first store visit.

Respect the customer’s selection
If a customer selects another shipping country, that choice is retained. An existing session or the saved shipping address of a logged-in customer also takes priority over the domain’s default country.

Create product exports for the target market
A sales channel domain can be selected for a product export. The default shipping country configured for that domain then determines the country context used for price and tax calculations in the export.

Fall back to Shopware’s standard behaviour
If no valid default shipping country is configured for a domain, Shopware’s standard behaviour applies. Only active countries assigned to the sales channel are considered.

Fixed the domain default shipping country being lost on follow-up requests without a domain (e.g. Store API). The applied country is now stored at the context token; a country that was not selected by the customer follows the called domain.
Fixed product export header and footer being rendered with the sales channel country instead of the country of the export domain.
Fixed the product export domain not being reset when the storefront sales channel of the export changes.
Fixed changed domain settings not being picked up by long-running message workers.
Added the product export domain setting to the sales channel permissions, so users without full admin rights can view and save it.
