About the Extension

Purpose of the plugin

The plugin preserves the existing customer cart when an administrator accesses a customer account using “Log in as customer” in the Shopware Administration. Items from the previous storefront session are not added to the customer’s cart. This is useful for telephone sales, for example.

Open the customer cart without additional items
When switching to the customer account, its cart is preserved. A previously filled guest cart or the cart of another previously logged-in customer account is not merged with it.

Clear the previous storefront cart
After a successful login, the previous storefront session’s cart is permanently deleted in the relevant sales channel. If the login fails, no cleanup takes place. If the session is already logged in as the same customer, that customer’s cart is preserved.
