About the Extension

Purpose of the Plugin

The plugin extends the standard Shopware functionality with additional options for managing product quantities and cart positions. Individually configurable rules allow targeted control of order quantities, quantity restrictions, and the handling of products in the shopping cart for specific products, product groups, or customer segments.

Quantity Control for Products in the Shopping Cart
Configurable rules allow you to define how products are handled in the shopping cart. For example, you can control whether identical products are merged into a single cart position or displayed as separate positions, as well as how maximum order quantities are applied. All settings are managed centrally within the administration area.

Flexible Quantity Rules
Quantity rules can be assigned to individual products or dynamic product groups. In combination with the Shopware Rule Builder, they can be applied specifically to selected customers, customer groups, or sales scenarios.

Control of Cart Positions
The plugin allows you to define whether identical products in the shopping cart are merged or displayed as separate positions. Additionally, each unit of a product can be added as an individual cart position. This can be useful for personalized products, custom configurations, or other scenarios where separate processing of individual positions is required.

Order Quantity Management
In addition to controlling cart positions, the plugin provides advanced options for managing maximum order quantities. This allows different requirements for maximum order limits to be implemented flexibly.
