About the Extension

Purpose
The plugin enables targeted control of category visibility in the storefront based on defined customer groups or dynamic rules. This allows for a personalized storefront structure.

Possible Use Cases / Application Scenarios
A B2B shop may want to make certain categories accessible only to wholesalers, while end customers should not see them. Or a shop with special offers for VIP customers hides specific categories only for them. It can also be used to create separate assortments for different countries or languages.

Usage
Visibility can be configured directly in the admin area on the detail pages of categories or customer groups. The assigned rules or groups determine whether a category is displayed in the storefront. Unauthorized categories automatically trigger a 404 page.

Nach unserem Support-Ticket wurde innerhalb weniger Tage Kompatiblität zum Plugin "Suche Pro" (ebenfalls von ACRIS) hergestellt und Nicht-Öffentliche-Kategorien tauchen nun nicht mehr in der Suche auf. Auf ACRIS ist verlass, Immer wieder gerne!

Ich bin begeistert von den Plugins von Acris, mit sehr guten und schnellen und freundlichen Support und guter Kompatiblität.
Bei diesem Plugin ist zudem zu beachten, dass es weitere Plugins von Acris gibt, die mit diesem "zusammenarbeiten". Wer Produkte für bestimmte Kundengruppen möchte, will oft auch Kategorien nur für bestimmte Kundengruppen oder spezielle Preise für einzelne Kunden.

Es ist alles über die API anpassbar und auch über die Admin-Oberfläche.

Update: Eine Anfrage zu den Breadcrumbs wurde umgehend beantwortet und schnell umgesetzt. Top-Service und Support von Acris.
