About the Extension

Purpose of the Plugin

The plugin enables flexible sorting of order line items in Shopware. Customers can define the order of their items directly in the shopping cart. In addition, order line items can also be rearranged afterwards directly in the Shopware Administration.

Sort order line items directly in the shopping cart
Customers can easily arrange the items in their shopping cart in the desired order. Sorting is possible via drag-and-drop, arrow buttons, or the keyboard. The order defined in the shopping cart is automatically transferred when the order is placed.

Adjust order line items in the Administration
Existing orders can also be rearranged directly in the Shopware Administration. Line items can be moved via drag-and-drop or arrow buttons. Alternatively, the desired position value can be entered directly. Optionally, you can define the order status in which the sequence of order line items may be changed in the Administration. This can, for example, prevent already completed orders from being rearranged afterwards.

Keep the sorting in documents, emails and the customer account
The saved order is not only used in the order detail view, but is also applied to other areas of the order. This means that order line items can, for example, be displayed in the desired sequence in documents, emails, and the customer account.
